Benefits

Your employer contributes to the Funds on your behalf to pay for benefits. You are not required to make any contributions for your benefits. Your employer's contribution amount is determined through negotiations and is set at the time the collective bargaining agreement is reached. The contributions are pooled in the Trust Funds and invested by professional investment managers. The Trust Fund assets are used exclusively to provide you with benefits and cover plan administration expenses, in accordance with Internal Revenue Service rules.
